Bottle. Clear maroon brown color, beige head. Aroma of figs, prunes, on a cocoa background. Taste is fruity chocolate. Good example of the style.

Bottle (let this one sit for a couple years). Raisin, caramel malt, and alcohol aroma. Dark brown with small head. Sweet raisin, light orange/wine, caramel malt flavor. Light alcohol and bitter herbal finish. Light body. Pleasant.

Bottle 65 cl. Comes as: "Bridge Brew Works Belgian-Style Dubbel". Pours a murky brown with a small, beige head. Heavily oxidized aroma of dark, overripe fruits - almost noble rot. Medium bodied, extremely oxidized flavours, but very interesting, dark, rottening fruits, but gets very spicy and interesting. Some late sweet chocolate as well. Perhaps a little old, but not bad at all. Has a slight tartness as well. 081114

Pours clear honey/golden, lots of bubbles, a medium sized foamy white head, lots of lacing. Aroma of rye spices, sweet caramel and lemon. Taste is caramel, earthy, rye spices with a bitter citrus finish

16 ounce can from Pies & Pints Fayetteville, and shared with some friends. Pours a hazy golden with a large creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of bready malt, soap, hints of butter. The taste is citrus and tropical hops, bready malt, yogurt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness. Weird.

Aroma of toffee, brown sugar, mild floral and cedar notes. The taste is toffee, cedar, caramel, earthy and herbal hops. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Draft at Purple Fiddle. Black color, brown head. Nice roasted coffee aroma. Taste is just the right amount of coffee, not overwhelming.
