Can from a Grocery Outlet in West Sacramento California. Pours hazy gold with a monstrous fully whitehead that persisted. Aroma seems tropical, but has a lot of peach. Medium body.
It’s juicy with pale stone fruit and green melon. A light touch of earthiness. Lightly sugary with enough bitter to balance. I really like the flavor.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21B: red IPA). Can 35.5 cl - Batch 13:19:54 NKC-J (BB: undeclared - packaged on 06/04/25). AROMA: medium-low to low hop notes (pine, slight peach). medium malty background with caramelly notes. slight isovaleric. APPEARANCE: orange-ish amber color with fine particulates in suspension. medium ivory head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium-low to low hop flavor (pine, slight fruity), followed by a medium malty background with a light caramel character. medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry to dry and bitter finish that persists. TEXTURE: medium-body with medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a red IPA where the hops started to fade so demands retasting.

Beer Republic Advent Calendar day 9. Packaged June 18, 2025 in Oregon, drunk in Germany. Nearly clear, light gold, small head. Spicy citrus hop nose on light caramel. Smooth bitterness, caramel candy lozenge, lots of citrus and a sparkling front-palate mouthfeel. Pretty good one, would love to have it fresh.
