(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark, almost black with a reddish glow. But strangely absolutely no head. I reckon this is the closest Sweden comes to a Danish "hvidtøl" (table beer), but nonetheless it’s very different. Sweetish yes, but not overly so. Not much body, notes of coffee and an odd hop character. A strange brew though. 260102

(Bottle 50 cl) Pretty dark colour with a tint of red. Lovely creamy, dense head. Very classical Swedish Christmas beer with lots of sweet malt and a solid body. A solid bitter finish to round things of. 060102

(Bottle 50 cl) Very black indeed with a brown, retentive head. Dry and malty, slightly burned with a marked if not exactly dominating bitterness. A very atypical style for Sweden. 221201

A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sourmalty combined with notes of brewmash, while the flavor is plain sour malty. Poor low alcohol beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Neat, deep golden colour with a decent head. Distinct hoppy aroma with the hops also adding a good dose of bitterness. Some filling malt, but in general this looks better than it tastes. 181201

(Bottle 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a nice, tight head that sticks to the glass. Appears a bit thin-bodied but does gain some potency from the alcohol. Weak bitter finish. A pleasant drink all right. 061101

(Can 50 cl) 5,5% ABV in my version. Beautiful, fully golden brew with a small head. Nice full body and a clearly marked bitterness, but not overly bitter. A decent strong lager. 240901

(Bottle 50 cl) Extremely potent brew from Spendrups. Neat, dark golden colour without much head. Very full body and high in both sugar and bitterness. Typical strong lager with more alcohol than refinement. But drinkable - at least. 170301

(Bottle 50 cl) Golden pilsener with almost no head. Decently full-bodied with a hoppy finish. Average for it’s style without much personality really. 010301
