(Can 50 cl) Fully golden with a nice head. Nice malty sweetness and almost no hops. Very typical bland lager - good looking though.... 230403

Canned. Pale yellow, slightly bready water with an airy head. Perhaps it’s even possible to sense some grassy hops. Certainly not offensive.

(Can 50 cl) Comes as "Norrlands Guld Mellanöl" at 4,2% ABV. Impressive colour, deep, dark golden with a fine head. Lots of sweet malt and a nice, full body rounded by a discreet bitterness. You sense some good quality ingredients in here. 060303 and 260806

(Bottle 50 cl) Classical pale golden with a discreet but lacing head. Nice hoppy aroma, good solid, malty body but no major bitterness. Very straight quality lager. 130702

(Bottle 50 cl) Very dark, almost black with a reddish hue and a handsome, tall head. Full-bodied and dry with a malty, lightly burned touch. This almost resembles a dry, Scotch Ale. Heck, they make nice Christmas beers in Sweden. 210302

5/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 5 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful golden colour with a decent head. Very marked hoppy nose, and the bitter hops last all the way through. But generally a very decent lager, where you tend to forget how light it is. 040302

(Can 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a small head. Decent body, some malty sweetness and a discreet bitterness. Somehow I feel I’ve written these exact words a 100 times.... 200202

Canned. Golden, surprisingly firm head. Light sourdough aroma. Very netallic and achingly thin. Some citric acid. A vague touch of corn flakes acts as the body. No trace of hops. Lousy.

(Bottle 50 cl) Neat golden colour with a fine, dense head. Nice hoppy aroma from the good quality hops and an adequate bitterness. Sometimes the Swedes really succeed in producing excellent light lagers with low alcohol. This is a fine example. 280102
