Rating added 2/16/200650 cl Bottle purchased at (Swedish) government owned "Systembolaget".Light yellow color and a white head. Malty scent and taste, an ok lager for clenching your thirst, but nothing I’d drink for good taste.5/3/5/3/10=2.6

A deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a slightly dusty hoppy note. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and ryebread, as well as light notes of licorice. The end is dry.

First rating.Bottle on January 7, 2006.Dark color, not much at all in scent and flavor, just a boring beer that should not be called a Christmas beer per my definition. Had they called it another type of beer I might have rated it higher, but as a Christmas beer it’s just plain boring and not worth buying.4/3/4/3/6=2.0Second rating.(50 cl bottle from Swedish Systembolaget)updated 11/19/2006Weak malty scent, some German malts. Boiled vegetables. Clear dark red to brown color, tan head. Buttery toffee taste, some metal. Thin mouthfeel. Low bitterness.4/3/4/2/8=2.1

Big, white coarse-laced head over yellow body with ongoing carbonation. Faint aroma of straw. Sweet, malty, grainy taste with dry aftertaste of roasted malts. Dry, roastiness lingers. Some floral hops can be detected. A straightforward lager with some more taste than usual, plus for no off flavours.

Golden color, decent white head. Malty, metallic aroma. Sweet malty flavor, some fruityness too. Short malty finish. This one is competing very well in the "international bulk lager class", drinkable sauna beer.

A deep red beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of berries and nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt and light notes of berries, leading to a dry end. The body is thin inspite of the 5.8% ABV.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear very dark amber with a small, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt. Very light body - naturally - with notes of roasted malt and caramel and a wee metallic edge. OK as such, but it’s really difficult to get overly enthusiastic about these dilluted beers. 010106

Bottled. Ruby/dark amber colour, small white head. Aroma says quite little, mainly weak sweetness and malts. Same with flavour, mainly extreme sweet malts in flavour. Aftertaste dry maltish/hoppy with grassy hints. Weak roast also.
