Bottle brought by a friend, medium sample. Slight hazy golden to orange color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of orange and mandarin (de Hemel yeast?), slight flowery, bit sweet. Bit sweet in taste, soft bitterness. Slight spicy belgian golden ale with the typical de Hemel yeast notes, which is quite nice. Decent brew.

Bottle 50cl. Very dark brown amber colour, good creamy tan head, recedes slowly to a thick layer, good lacing. Aroma sweet malty, toasted, caramel, honey, candy sugar, fruit syrup, port wine, raisins. Taste heavy sweet, slightly bitter, toasted. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste sweetbitter, alcoholic, woody. Overall a strong sweet but not too sugary strong ale, very nice
