Description
Brewing bold beers from our hilltop in Hebden Bridge and pouring punchy pints from our very own taprooms. We’re resolutely in the business of setting standards, not following trends.

The mid-session interval beer for my two days at the Bradford Beer Festival - end of Day 1 afterthought. Clear hazy golden with lots of strength and lots of hoppiness, with hints of tropical fruit in both aroma and taste.

It is the typical beer that you try firstly and you say so-so, after some sips, the hop and the malt take more body, giving a decent pils, 26.07.18, at Prélaz, buying it througb qoqa.ch

Vocation Catch-Up Paddle Beer#4 of 4. Almost caught up now on my neglected local brews, with this afternoon dedicated to one brewery pub and four newbies. Last up is a clean crisp light textured golden lager with a glow. It's notably soft in texture, and the hops have a dryish wine-esque character to them, which is pretty tasty... and this from a style I don't usually care for much.

Vocation Catch-Up Paddle Beer#3 of 4. I've been neglecting my local brews, so this afternoon just one aim, one pub, four newbies, third up is this dryish IPA, a pale yellow-gold colour. Despite being a Brut it's quite juicy, mainly because the sweet tropical fruits in here are very stated in taste and are potent too. Its mildly carbonated texture is dry, most notably in its aftertaste.

Vocation Catch-Up Paddle Beer#2 of 4. I've been neglecting my local brews, so this afternoon just one aim, one pub, four newbies, going dark next with this second one, a clear dark amber-gold stout. It's not too roasted in taste, in fact a little watery here, but its aroma provides the best notes of these, albeit light ones.
