Description
Brewing bold beers from our hilltop in Hebden Bridge and pouring punchy pints from our very own taprooms. We’re resolutely in the business of setting standards, not following trends.

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Very hoppy with a high tropical fruity aroma and taste. There’s citrus here, which is not too sour, but has a bitterness. Golden with a small head.

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Apparently Vocation had a lot of left over Simcoe hops from Chop & Change so decided to brew this special version of one of their regulars. Golden-amber with a small creamy head. Has a smooth tasting tropical fruit hop aroma and taste. Has lots of flavour with a low citric character.

Can from Old Shambles in York. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - grapefruit with a touch of lime. Taste - more grapefruit and this time something resembling greengage. Then lime on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - enjoyable.

Cask @ Fox And Goose, Hebden Bridge. Almost black, but not quite. Is at its most ’stout’ in its aroma, with its strength dominant in taste. It’s more porter-like than stout in terms of its taste though.
