Can at home in London - picked up at the Richmond Brewers’ Fair. Pours totally clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Dry citrus fruits in the nose, some white grape, pithy grapefruit, lemon peel. Moderately sweet, with a steady biscuity malt base, more pithy citrus fruits, slight minerality, touches of pine, bitter rind. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, with a nice pale, bready malt ballast, some ripening tangerine, orange rind, mild oily pine, melon. A good all-around IPA.

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Brighter golden ale with a thin head. The hop dominates as you might expect with a dryish tropical fruitiness available.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, pine, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, pine, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity hops, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230224] 7-3-7-4-15

Bottle at Tilt Brum; opaque black pour with a creamy tan head, aroma has plain chocolate, taste has dark fruits, chocolate, smooth.

How do you like your chocolate, if it is in liquid form you’ve found your beer heaven. Not a lot could get through the malty chocolate nose and taste of this very easy drinking Chocolate Stout.

As the style might indicate, this was a black bodied beer, the head a full and lasting beige covering. Slight citrus leanings in the nose and taste with a malty backbone that prevented the citrusy hops running away with the taste and aroma by adding a chocolate trace to everything..

Third of a 330cl can on 5th Feb 2016: in De Bierboom during the 4th International Beer Exchange Evening. Slight haze to the orange pour, wispy top. Tropical fruits rule the nose, they compliment the semi-sweet malt background and the more bitter hop front. A good start to an awesome evening.
