A dark amber unclear (from the yeast) beer with a fine but fast disappearing head. The aroma is very yeasty with notes of koriander, oranges, and earthy alcoholic notes. But the flavor is weird - I wonder if that is because I poured some of the yeast? though I doubt it after reading some of the other rewievs - but on my tastebuds it is not good. The flavor is earthy, metallic, yeasty, grassy on top of a weird malty background with some lemon notes and a sharpness as if it has been wildfermented. Not at all what I expected - not good.

Ruby amber color; big head. Alcohol nose; malt with a nice fruitness. Smooth, light fruitness in the mouth. Good, powerful, but missing something…

Clean amber color. Very nice hoppy aroma. Smooth body, a lot of caramel, correctly balanced but less interesting than the nose lets suppose.

Brown, dark amber color. Light aroma, strange (cookies...). Pretty good body, with some malt, a lot of caramel, some liquorice, roasted malt, strong bitterness, introducing the long bitter final. Strange, maltier than a bitter, more bitter and drier than other porters.

A nice amber beer with a very nice head. It doesn't have much aroma. The flavor is slightly sweet and slightly bitter - a little flat. Nice slightly bitter beer, but not so bitter, that I would caracterize it as a bitter.

Even compensating for the ageing of my sample, this is a beautiful dark ale. If this is a porter, then they must mean like the old "Entire", though I cannot find any acidity. The kind of malts I taste, however, go in this direction. There is a nice nutty taste, with a coffee or bitter chocolate finish. A bit of a restrained beer, but in a nice British way.

Dark mahogany colour. Herbal aroma (coriander?). Malty and full bodied, but also sweet. Huge herbal flavour that remains until the finish. Low bitterness.
