Cask at The Pocket, Islington, Thursday 12th June 2025 in the company of Rhys and Stefana. Hazy gold, edging towards light amber with a small white head. Nice aroma, citrus, with mostly orange and grapefruit, these aromas also show in the mouth. Good session beer.

330ml can, ABV in this form at 5%. Look - murky amber, small off-white head, nice retention. Inviting. Aroma - slightly toasted malts, rye grain, earthy and stone fruit hop. Ok. Taste - sweet malts to start and then a resinous note with fruitiness. Moderate bitterness and dry finish. Quite nice. Palate - moderate body, semi-smooth, dry at the end. Its a decent beer but doesn't really stand out.

330ml panda from LCB. Lightly misted gold with thin head. Aroma of lime, grains, kumquat. Surprisingly its actually very tasty! Sour lime and kumquat with a dry edge and a sweeter malt to balance. Light bodied but it works with well with the flavours.
