On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - expected lemon. Some blossom notes. Taste - green and stalky. Palate - light bodied. Dry finish. Not so much in the middle. Overall - expected more on the taste after the nose.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Waen Baby Snowball ].Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark chocolate, roasted, chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161015] 7-3-7-3-14

Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish.

Gravity dispense at Steel City Beer Festival 2016 - Dark brown body with thin beige head. Nose is dark fruit, a bit of spice. Taste is dark fruits, sweet coffee, and the chili then kicks in. Okay.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 20 April 2017) Black colour with brief head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, vanilla and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, vanilla, coconut, dark fruit, prunes, a touch of oak wood and a balanced roasty bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, with lots of chocolate and vanilla. Nice one.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 21st March 2017. Amber with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Lemon zest and pungent yeasts in aroma. Sweet toffee malts and citrus zest in-mouth. Leafy hops and toasty malts in the finish. Zingy mouthfeel and plenty of body.
