Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Yellow, almost straw. Clear with a loose white head. Light tropical fruit and aroma, some cheap soap, some floral notes. Light bittersweet taste with suggestions of grapefruit. Sweeter in the aftertaste with lemon drop flavours. Thin to medium body with a fair bit of natural carbonation. Not bad by any stretch.

Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear straw colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is malt, grassy tropical citrus fruit hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a crisp, fresh, malt, fruity, light dry pepper spice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
