(Cask at Holborn Whippet, Holborn, London, 8 Apr 2014) Hazy golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with biscuit, citrus and slightly toasty malt. Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, bready malt, tropical fruit and a certain citric bitterness in the finish. Rather thin body, with a slight sweetness. Quite tasty, but the flavours don’t really come together as a unit. Not perfectly balanced, but still quite nice.

Gravity cask at Craft 100 beer festival - Clapham, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, bubbly white head. Really solid hoppy golden ale. Moderate sweetness provides the base then you’ve got nice juicy tangerine, mild bitter hay and grass and light doughy white bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Well balanced to finish with more juicy, citrusy hops. Really nice.
