12oz can picked up at Total Wine.
Pours slightly cloudy golden with a medium sized off-white head that dissipates quickly, some lacing. Key lime, graham crackers, herbal, mint.
Ok, might be better on a hot day.

Can. I don't get how any company can say that an IPA can have the drinkability of a lager, just because its called a cold IPA? WTF? Anyway. this stuff pours almost clear pale. The nose is mild pine tar. The taste is as expected, its just an IPA; I don't care much for the advertising that its like 'a clean and crispy lager' hehehh, its not. Its just another marketing gimmick to try to sell these IPA to unsuspecting american lager lovers. Yea its bitter, if this is a lager, its got to be something like that old IPL style, india pale lager. And those are just IPA bastardized lagers anyway. Don't they have enough IPA out there? Why try to make a lager like and IPA and say its civilized in its drinkability like a lager? Go figger.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall tan head that fades pretty quickly and doesn't leave much of anything on top after just a few seconds. Aroma of toasted coconuts, light coffee, a lot of earthiness and rustic nutty qualities with some grainy malts coming through as well, on the toasted side, but the roasty qualities are less defined, which is a nice thing, to me, at least. Medium-bodied; Assertive coffee and bitterness from the nuts and the toasted grain with a dash of spice here as well, but the toasted coconut really comes out at the end and provides a nice cover to all the other flavours and some moderate sweetness here. Aftertaste is very rich from the coffee and the coconuts, but the grain, malt and roasted nuts bring out a lot of complexity here, especially at the end. Overall, a nice and rich beer that shows a lot of character and flavours, without a ton of malts, no cloying sugars, and the alcohol as well is very easy-going, making this a nice beer for the Winter season for sure, and worth trying to find, even if you are in Florida where it never seems to get chilly. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Estero (Bonita Springs, #074), Florida on 02-May-2022 for US$2,79 sampled in my house here in Washington on 06-February-2023.

Draft pour pint at Boulevard Burgers, St. Pete Beach. It is SO good to be back to my home away from home. Dark cola brown appearance. Thin fading head. Rich milk chocolate and sweet candy bar coconut flavor, but I refuse to refer to this as a dessert. It's bold enough, and the near imperial status balances it. Smooth chocolate malt finish. Toasty late palate. Delicious use of the coconut. Really enjoyed this.
