Clear dark purple brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: oxidized, acidic, infected, lactic acid, vinegar touch, red currants, meh. Smells rather off. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: oh my, very sweet, soft acidity, very spicy, cloves and aniseed are abundant, some “lebkuchen”, caramel, sugary, alcohol. Aftertaste: spicy, cloves, staranise, liquorice, gingerbread, intense, nice one!

Slushie at Billies. Looks like slushy, murky orange. Spices, sweet fruit, pumpkin. Solid sweet. Slushy ice body. Weird as hell but quite fun.

Cloudy light yellow beer, small creamy white head, pretty stable, little adhesive. Aroma: a bit dirty, some sulphur notes, tropical fruits, lots of citrus, spicy, grassy touch. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice, tropical fruits, juicy, lots of citrus, grapefruit, nice bitterness, pretty dry, good! Aftertaste: spicy touch, bitter, hoppy, slightly sweet, ripe tropical fruits, mango, nice one!

Clear gold blond beer, creamy dense off-white head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, hay, cow fodder, a bit of cardboard, meh. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter and dry start, grassy hops, a hint of diacetyl, very malty. Aftertaste: good bitterness, malty, grains, hay, some caramel, bitter.

On tap, at Billie's Craft Beer Festival. A super-easy drinkable one, with a light maltyness in the back and piney, citrusy hops up front. Quenching, but so easy to down that the beer feels a bit dull, at least in the company it had on Billie's. 646413 251107
