very hazy pale yellow colour, large, dense ecru-ish off-white head; aroma of pineapple, grape juice-vinous, tangerine, some peachy, biscuity, slight vegetables and coconut notes; syrupy taste with similar notes to the aroma and some spicy-horseradish-like aftertaste; quite good one!

(Keg at Oluthuone Haka, 20260409) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had resin, tropical fruits and honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were resin, pine, toffee, tropical fruits and bitterness. Aftertaste had toffee, resin and bitterness. A good hoppy brew with lightly sweet notes.

440ml can. Murky golden with a white head, great retention. Aroma is dominated by the honey, which is quite herbal/medicinal, hard to get the hops. Taste is also dominated by the honey, it's herbal in a medicinal way, like cough drops (think Strepsils or Strefen), overwhelms any hop flavours here, leans sweet obviously but there is some hop bitterness to keep the balance. Medium bodied.
A rare Bereta miss I'd say. Far too heavy handed with the honey addition, which might have worked if the honey itself was nicer.

Semi opaque dark brown - amber beer, a small tan head that lasts precisely no time at all. Soft palate, a mild dryness, modest fine carbonation, fine for this brew. Good malts, a nice creamy sweetness with a good caramel and dark toffee. A wet wood overripe whiskey soaked dark fruits vibe. Touch of oak induced vanilla. Some alcohol spice. The chocolate is quite subtle flavour wise but, provides sweetness and richness. Soft finish. A rich and varied barleywine that is ready to drink now.
