aroma of pine and grapefruit - herbal hoppy, bit citrus fruity notes too. Clean and very nice aroma.
Flavor is various kinds of bitter hoppy with a fine tone of exotic fruity sweetness below. very hoppy. quite quenching but also close to bittersweet and cloying. water treatment and mouthfeel manages somehow to be both crisp and soft at the same time.
Quite hoppy bitter for a hazy , the bitterness is really good, only it plays less than perfect with the sweet exotic fruity notes. Other than that,it's a very badass double IPA. alc. well hidden. Very quenchable.

Very dark brown with some coconut fat skim on the top. This has a whack of toasted coconut on the nose. Very rich, and super coconut, some chocolate. Silky, some alcohol, but very well balanced. The macadamia shows only a little bit, but this is beautiful. Just rich and heavy and magnificent.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is fairly light and semi dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light pale malts, flirting with thin, a modest creamy sweetness. Hops, whatever they are, bring crisp pine and a little hop spice nibble. A fair dose of savoury skunk and a light but crisp bitter streak over mildly bright citrus. Touch of candy fruits on the back end. Probs Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic or something akin to that. Crisp mildly hop spicy finish. Nice crisp dipa that brings the darker side of hops.

Bottle shared by Tom, thanks! Pours a syrupy black with a dark brown head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has a good amount of coconut with sweet dark grains and bourbon supporting. Flavor has coconut and roasted malts with a decent amount of chocolate backing.
