From old tasting notes. Hazy medium gold color. Lots of bubbles. Sweetish malty foretaste. Dry mouth coating finish. Light dry aftertaste.

Unusually dark for and imperial IPA. Aroma’s hops, burnt sugar, malt. Flavor’s like nose with hops forward, otherwise fairly balanced. Strength is hidden. Good body and finish.

Bottled (backlog). Deep amber colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is zest, some nectar, mild chocolate as well as some toffee. Flavour is chocolate, zest, some sweet malts as well as some nectary notes to it as well. Somewhat bitter finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours dark brown, but looks black in the glass. Brown foam and some dotted lacing happening. Initially banana bread on the sniff, then on a deeper one I imagine a dark chocolate covered banana. Yum!Creamy mouthfeel. I taste bitter chocolate malts, banana is hidden at first, but present in the finish. Its mixed with a malt ball coffee grinds and some bitter chocolate.

Pours a hazy golden-amber color with a foamy off-white head. Aroma and taste of caramel, citrus, and grapefruit. Decent.
