Can. Hazy yellow. Mango nose (but more skin than flesh). Lactose mouthfeel. Odd milkshake attempt, as no substantial sweetness. Hops actually have a presence. Mango is definitely core flavour. Not bad, but not great.

Can. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has wet pine and wet grass with a bit of dank citrus and some bread backing. Flavor has wet pine and earthy citrus with a bit of grass and a bread backbone.

From a 375ml can on 27/2/2019. Pours a deep clear golden with a small to medium head. The nose is herbal and resinous. The flavour is quite intense with caramel and biscuit malt kicking things off, followed by some big resiny, lingering hops. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Drinks a bit bigger than 6.5%. A really solid, flavoursome IPA.

Aroma of toffee apple, grapefruit and lemon. Heavy on the cirrus good in the mouth. Cracking beer but more of an ipa than an xpa

375ml can into shaker. Golden amber beer with white foamy head and medium carbonation. A little hazy. Nose is earthy, fruity, woody. Full-bodied with a smooth texture. Sweet and woody with a dry finish. There are hints of vanilla and sweet fruit and grapefruit. Great beer, really satisfying and complex.

Can. Deep gold with a modest white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, herbs, light bread. Medium bodied, carbonation is just on the low side of moderate. Just a touch of booze. Only sweetish, with softer pale bready notes than suggested by the rather straight-ahead aroma. The fruit and resinous pine sit better as a consequence, with firm bitterness gripping gradually. The hops were not that interesting but this is more than solid.

Can. Amber with an inch + white head. Aroma of mandarin, pineapple, pine, passionfruit, bread. There's a light earthy touch that I usually hate in pale ales but it's so clean and fruity otherwise I don't mind. 7+ Around medium bodied, not as fizzy as it looked. Sweet with bread and a lick of caramel (not enough to annoy) then a mixture of fruit and pine towards the fairly bitter end. Refreshing and clean with a deft use of Enigma in the mix of hops.

As Dirty Word Lager 5% The last of my Christmas gifts from Australia poured a lightly cloudy gold with a resinous green hop pellet bouquet. The beer is light bodied with a clean herbal green hop character and touches of lemon/line. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
