Bottle. Black with a fat coat of tan head. Aroma of raspberries with a wall of maltiness behind - fine but not nuanced. Smooth, almost oily body with low carbonation - another lovely textured beer from Bruny Island. The stout asserts itself upon a taste with bitter chocolate and modest roast balancing the mainly sweet raspberry. A nice orange blossom and pepper-tinged bitter note at the end.

Bottle. Dark brown with a huge beige head. Aroma of spicy rye bread, chicory, roasted seaweed. Fruitier notes creep through upon a taste - melon and some citrus. It's just medium bodied and quite bubbly. The rye and roast duck in and out of prominence and I couldn't quite decide whether they were a little much for a while. Interesting (as usual) and goes well with cheese (as usual).
