On tap half-pint on 22nd Jan 2017 in the Crown & Anchor, Brixton. Slight haze to the golden body, white crown on top. Decent mix of malts and hops with very little aroma, but flavours in the taste. Mild citrus fruit leanings with a mini-sweetness to balance that out a little. Refreshing and thirst quenching, would have been better in the summer.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, courtesy of Simon. Many thanks! Pours dark with small pale tan head. Aroma bears some roast and coffee hints. Smooth on the palatte with well-integrated rum and dark fruits, some marzipan notes, hints of coffee. Yeah itโs alright.

Hazy dark gold, lively white head. Zesty orange smell. Flavour is bitter and orangey as well, with dry bitter hope and a light, airy aftertaste.Nothing especially complex happening but itโs a nice, crisp IPA with a nice, strong citrusy taste.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus for the can. Hazy gold beer, thin white head. Airy palate, modest carbonation. Soft pale malts, mildly sweet. Mild citrus, touches of orange and lemon. A mild citric zip livens the whole beer. Smooth semi dry finish. Tidy.

Keg at London Beer House. It pours jet black with a small beige head. The aroma is creamy, sweet, sticky, coffee & cream, treacle, vanilla, roasted malt and dried fruits. The taste is bitter - sweet, roasted malt, milky coffee, vanilla, earthy, toasty and cracked black pepper with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Doesnโt knock my socks off. Decent enough anyhow.

33cl can from Beer52.com. A hazy amber pour with loose white head; tropical fruit aroma; muddled tropical fruit taste with a spicy bitterness; and some warmth. Fresh and fruity, but not the best of its type.

Can shared in Kensal Rise. Pours black-brown with a creamy, beige head. The aroma has some dried berries, scorched earth and leather. Light-medium sweet flavour with nips of coconut, vanilla pods, milk chocolate, mellow roast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and oily texture. Sweet finish with more dark malts, milk chocolate, oily coconut, berries, raisins. Enjoyable.
