Cask at Four Thieves. It pours clear golden amber with a decent white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sticky, tinned pineapple, very juicy, fruit punch and grapefruit. The taste is crisp, drying, bitter, a good hit of grapefruit, pomello, peppery spice, grass, straw, floral notes and varnish with a linger dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty punchy stuff for the abv. Rather nice overall.

0,33l can at home. BB 07/11/2016. orange clear color, rather big white head. smells of pines, resin, light currant notes, rather acidic, after the foam settles quite a nice bouquet of exotic fruits, light grapefruti, lychee, light lemon grass. nice smell. light body, rather light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes herbal, citric, light bready, some tobacco. finishes quite herbal bitter with some citric notes. bitterness even stings a bit on the tongue. good smell but rather one dimensional taste, maybe freshness is an issue here. overall still drinkable.

330ml can from Ales by Mail. Pours hazy golden orange with a thin white head. Aromas of grapefruit, resin, crystal malt. Taste is more of the same. A little sticky for a session IPA, but not bad.

Mother Kellyโs. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and fairly crisp. Thin dark malts, trace of dark chocolate. Mild dark fruits. Bourbon went through on stilts. Light dry finish. Nice idea but lacks boldness for me.

The taste is bitter, big grapefruit character, zesty citrus, light soap, pine needles, hay, peppery spice and biscuit malt base with a dry, zesty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Works rather well.

Keg as "Two Tribes London Beer House Pale Ale" at the London Beer House. It pours hazy very pale gold with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, white bread, cracker and straw. The taste is crisp, bitter, zesty citrus, grapefruit, lemon, quite soapy, cracker and white pepper with a lingering soapy finish. Light - medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A it took soapy for my liking, but overall OK.

Keg at The London Beer House. It pours pretty much black with a medium beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, dark fruits, roasted malt, cocoa and mellow vanilla. The taste is smooth, bitter, rich roasted malts, toast, peppery spice, umami, liquorice, cacao nibs, vanilla and some dark fruits in the background. Finish is dry and lingers. Pretty flavoursome and drinkable.

On keg. Sweetish malty beer with hints of raisins. Sweetish thick, somehow strange...
