Sample at The Bottle Shop in Dallas. The beer pours a clear copper color with a medium thick and fluffy off-white head that dissipates slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and spices. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, malt and fruity yeast. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Meddlesome Moth. Pours black with a medium creamy tan head that diminishes slowly to a film. Sheets of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium to full body with a roasty character and flavors of black coffee, chocolate, charred malt and slight hops. The finish is mocha and roast malt. Pretty good Imperial Stout all around.

Tap at Craft and Growler - I am torn on this one - it has a nice crips dryness to it, and an ample bitterness, but the flavor of the mosaic and citra seem out of place at first, but mellow and settle as your palate adjusts - the phenols are a bit plastic-like up front, but settle into some earth and light funkiness - a little bit of sweet melon and mango, and a touch of ginger at the end - okay, I guess I like it.

Thanks to crajun for sending this one in a trade. Pours hazy gold with a white head. The aroma is spicy citrus with a touch of Belgian funk in back. The flavor is lightly bitter but with little malt sweetness. Not a typical IPA though due to a definite Belgian yeast influence. Nice one, definitely different than the norm.

Bottle thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear amber red with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of tofee, caramel, light plastic, flora and sweet grains. Flavor has toffee and sweet bread with some underlying sweet fruits.
