Bottle. Deep brown. Loads of milk chocolate on nose plus some malts. Very thin mouthfeel. Certainly resembles an Easter egg, but one of the blander ones.

(Bottle) Pours slightly hazy amber with short-lived white head. Little aroma, but what there is was cardboard. Light bodied, well carbonated. Some sweet light malt at the start, quickly replaced with grassy hops and then some decent bitterness. Nice pilsner - this bottle was reduced, not sure why but maybe old stock, so aroma and appearance may have deteriorated.

330ml bottle into pint glass. Faint grainy nose. Cloudy orange beer with thin white head. Laces well. Carbonation is high and fine. Zingy in the mouth, quite bitter. Finish is understated grapefruit with later caramel and lemon notes. Very nice.

Malt is dominant, slightly burnt caramelised taste. The hops didn’t come into play as much as you expect, given it’s meant to be an APA. Try the Mildura Brewery Pilsener, it’s good.

Golden amber with a modest off white head. Aroma of peaches, caramel, a little grapefruit. Lightish bodied, but less so than the 4.5% would suggest. Sweet and fruity with peach and biscuit. A touch of grapefruit and kumquat. Fairly low bitterness. A little on the pedestrian side of things, but a pleasant quaffer.
