6/4/2022. Cask at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Bristol. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, caramel, slight veggie notes. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a sour edge. Light to moderate body, watery, soft carbonation. Starter for 8 or 9 … hoping for better.

Bottle at Pre-GBBF: Poured a golden with white head. Aroma is citrus, sweet cereal and grain. Taste is more citrus and sweet malt, but tasty.

Bottle shared@pre GBBF Shindig, London (04/08/2018) - hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white head. Fruity hoppy and malty, some vague citrus fruity notes, pale malty support, subdued hoppy finish.

Bottle split at the pre GBBF Shindig '18, thanks, 04/08/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is tangy citric peel, straw, pale malts, bread dough. Taste comprises citric zest, melon, airy malts, light breads, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, seim drying close with moderate hop bitterness. So so.

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth shindig 04/08/2018. Many thanks. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a a loose white head. Aroma is off cheese, lemon, dirty wheat, dusty grains. Flavour is composed of dry wheat, dirty grains, woody citrus lemon,. Palate is grainy, tannin, moderate carbonation.. Firm dirty bitterness.

[ As Brewhouse & Kitchen (Bristol) Big Daddy II ].
ABV: 5.0%. Cloudy medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, rich, malty, grass - floral, bread - dough. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, malty, rich, pale malt, sweet malt, bread - dough. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180804]

Bottle at ChrisO. It pours clear golden with a thick white head. The aroma is oily, citrus, grapefruit, doughy bread, floral and light soap. The taste is dry, bitter, spicy, pithy, zesty, oily, soapy, toasty grain and earth with a drying and soapy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty soapy and grainy.

8 3 7 3 15 Bottle shared. Near black with a tan head. Aroma of cocoa, chocolate, lactose, coffee and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
