Pours a coppery red with a small dissipating head.Aroma is similar to that of a dark ale, with toasted grains and a certain creamy nutty note, but it’s too faint. Nice though.Similar dark malt flavours, with lingering nutty notes, a slight peppery hint and a mild earthy bitter finish.Good creamy carbonation, but slightly too high.Interesting, but needs to be bolder!

Pours pale copper, with a good large head that shows great lacing but little persistence.Aroma is lacking for an ESB, it has some resinous/piney hops and lots of caramel but is pretty light on.Taste shows loads of caramel malt, but has some off-putting grainy notes. Finishes with a rather tame and boring bitterness.Body is too watery.Needs more hops!

Bottle from a local Grocery Outlet store. Pours hazy medium gold with a two finger frothy white head. Aroma is a very strange lemon. Medium body with lightly creamy carbonation. The flavor is almost lemon perfume - but with a weird aspect. "Lemon myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) is a citrus-fragranced spice that is native to coastal regions of Australia." That tells me a lot. I think this could grow on me, but it might take awhile. Unique!

bottle, pours light brown, thin tan head. Aroma is strange, slightly rye, kindof wheaty. Flavor is mellow, with malty body, some carmel and a nice toasty yeast and bread finish. I could drink this all day.
