Pours clear gold from the bottle. The head is white and fluffy, but soon fades. Aroma is kind of dank with hints of both bread and raw alcohol. Taste is rather nondescript, neither sweet nor particularly bitter, and ends up feeling like white bread dunked in schnapps. Body is light to medium. Finish is warm and alcoholic. Disappointing. A bock is about more than just raising the alcohol content.

Bottle. Good hop aromas, a bit citric and light. Hops still shine on the tongue, light and refreshing. Only a little sweetness, mostly dry. Simple and easy but nice.

Pours dark brown from the bottle and leaves a creamy head. Aroma is nutty, caramel, very much typical for the style. Taste is sweet. The light bitterness has a roasted note. Finish is rather bland and the light bitterness feels off. Not exactly metallic, but also not exactly pleasant. Fairly light bodied. I would have preferred a slightly more robust profile. Decent.
