UBottle from the brewer’s own stand at the Good Food Show at Birmingham NEC. Black with an off-white head and a light frothy mouthfeel. After Eight mint blended into a light roasted malt and black coffee base. Was afeared that this could be too sweet and overwhelmed by fake flavours. But no- Crafty Devil have got it exactly right, the roastiness and black coffee balancing out the sweet chocolate and mint perfectly to create a harmonious and tasty brew. A damn fine effort; thank you!

Can. Very hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is fluffy and has decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, modestly sweet. Decent cooling piney hops. Very mild hop spice. Orange and orange pith, spicy orange and floral orange. A good gamut of hop flavours but overall it feels slightly recessed. Pretty drinkable though.

Can. Hazy deep gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and has decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, sweetish. Mild milky sweetness. Mild hop spice and pine. Decent citrus blends well with the pine. Little ripe mango. Piney spicy finish. Pretty good.

330 ml bottle from Kris Wines, London, bb 1/12/16.
Amber, hazy body, with a massive, fluffy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of citrus, pine, orange, peach, berries, some candy, slight soap.
Tastes of grapefruit, orange, citrus, some berries, some earth, biscuit, some grass, slight herbs.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, a bit dry, zesty, citric, grassy, a bit piney, a bit herbal.

Very nice. Fruity and medium bodied, while it drinks quite fresh. Not fully balanced though in my opinion, has some herbal notes that doesn’t fit very well. Still a quaffable IPA, while nothing outstanding.

0,33l can at Saeglopurs place shared by him. BB 1/12/2016. orange hazy color, quite big white head. smells of grapefruit zest, light black currant jam, lychee, some spices, some more exotic fruits. overall nice smell. full body, rather light carbonation, soft mouthfeel. tastes of black currants, bit peppery, spices, some exotic fruits, mango, light passion fruit, lightly zesty, some more berry notes, lightly soapy. finishes lightly bitter with notes of black currants, exotic fruits and light spices. overall quite drinkable but also expected quite a bit more, not overly excited by the hop profile. still rather decent though.
