Bottle thanks to Dan? It pours dark brown with a medium light beige head. The nose is soft, sweet, juicy, caramel raisin, coffee, candy, cola and piney varnish. The taste is bitter roast, toasty, earth, pine, varnish, charred stuff, pepper and citrus rind with a dry, peppery finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Keg at The Famous Royal Volunteer, Bristol, Saturday 30th May 2015 Hazy amber in colour with just a light filmy head. Furiously hoppy, really juicy, dry, bitter, marvellous, bloody hell this is good, could just have lept to the best of the day (so far). A7 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.0
