Cask at the Saints Beer & Folk Festival, Ipswich. Pours slightly hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, hop, light caramel, yeast and straw. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Light to medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Finish is dry, semi-sweet, with lasting light citrus and just a touch of spice.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Leicester Beer festival, 11/3/2017. Near black in colour, with a thin, beige, head. An easy drinking stout with touch of chocolate, toasted malts and caramel before a dryish finish. Good.

Cask (handpump) @ A Room with a Brew, 78 Derby Road, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 5FD. [ As Scribblers Rubecca ].Clear dark brown red color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, burnt, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, fruit - berry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161011] 6-3-7-3-13

tried at the hop and barley. Lincoln more amber than golden colour with a white head. Aroma is citrus and deep bitter marmalade, Taste is mid sweet citrus, with a bitter finish.

[ As Scribblers One Brew over the Cuckoo’s Nest ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light to moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramel, pale malt, orange, fruity, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141012]

Cask, half-pint at A Room With a Brew in Nottingham. Mahogany coloured body with a deep rustic shade. Low fawn-coloured head. Roasted malty nose with hints of dark chocolate. Flavoured with dark dough and chocolate. Prolonged ending. Fine bodied. A nice one (shared with Finn 20.02.2016).

Cask, half-pint at Room with a Brew in Nottingham.Hazy, amber-gold body colour. Tiny white layer. Minimal lacing. Fresh fruit hoppy nose. Lemony hops to the taste buds, mild caramel beneath. Rounded ending, bittersweet. Satisfying (shared with Finn 20.02.2016).
