Fairly straightforward balanced coffee Stout with a little strength that is well-hidden. Aromas are coffee chocolate malt. Flavors are like nose on the sweet side but not overly so. Easy drinking. Perhaps a tad bit thin.

Sampled form a bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow gold color with a large foamy yellow-white head. The aroma was dry with notes of perfume, chalk, Sweettart candies, strong mustiness and yeast. The flavor was tart and dry with chalk, Sweettart candied and a bit of medicine. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Alisa brought this one back from a trip to NJ ++ Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a hazy bright yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was yeast, chalk, a bit of tart lemon and egg white. The flavor was dry and chalky with tart lemon and a touch of salt. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a heavily carbonated bright golden color with an enormous foamy yellow white head that lingered. The aroma was tart, dry and musty with coriander and Sweettart candies. The flavor was dry, musty and chalky with Sweettart candies. Medium length finish. Light and fizzy body.

Alisa brought this one back from a trip to NC. ++ Sampled form a bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that towered over the glass, lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was crisp, juicy and fruity with notes of orange, pineapple and grapefruit. The flavor was bitter and tangy with orange, lemon, grapefruit, pineapple and a grainy undertone. Long finish. Moderately full body.

8 3 7 3 16 Bottle shared at the pre-Christmas tasting with JimGreenuk. Very hazy pink red with an off white head. Aroma of tart red berries, yeast, light funk and citrus. Flavour is above light sweet and moderate sour. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle at the JimGreen tasting, Den Haag, December 2017. Poured a hazy orange amber with a bubbly round white head. The aroma is yeast, biscuit dough, light fruit. The flavour is moderate sour with a crisp fresh tart citrus, dry vinous palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle shared at Jim’s back tasting. Hazy dark pink with off white head. Light white wine, soft blue and black berries, soft spicy yeast, sweet malts, grass, red grapes. Medium sweet, light bitter and sour. Medium bodied. Nice one.
