Pours a darker amber. Scent is medium intense ( which is low for the style) appleskins. Taste is very drying, tannic, yet sweet underneath that. Pure appleskins, very intense. Has a certain caramelly , woody character which is very nice. Very different due to the drying, very tannic, sensation - which is usually not my favorite thing, but it does work here, and make the Ice Cider stand out. Develops quite a bit of sediment in the bottle over time, so I decanted it to seperate the (clear) drink from the muddy bottom 3 cm.

Bottle shared at Jonas place. A hazy purple red colour. Aroma of riped apples, some red berries, sulfits. Taste of intense sweet apples, riped red berries, honey.

Bottle. Dark hazy brown. Dusty light metallic, chalky Boskop aroma. Caramel sweetness, artificial apple, cheap apple cake, spicy finish. A bit too sweet cakelike.

Shared at Jim's tasting. Hazy ruby pour with no head. Notes of apples, sweet cherries, liquor, macerated fruit, palinka. Full body, flat, with a sweet finish.

Bottle. Pours clear amber. Aroma is dried apple, glue, caramel, solubles. Body is heavy, mostly sweet, caramel, booze. Sugary sweet, fruit too, but lacking actual complexity. Good.

Bottle. Hazy red color with soapy white head. Aroma is sweet apples, pancakes, Bratapfel, rum. Taste is pears, sweet red apples, cookie, mealy, doughy cookies, very tannic. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Solid but a bit too mealy.

Sampled from bottle at jim is back xmas tasting. Dark amber with no head. Sweet dry pear peels and concentrated applejuice. Woody notes, honey and tannins, cinnamon. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Bottle at the JimGreen tasting, Den Haag, December 2017. Poured a hazy medium amber with little life. The aroma is sweet fruity suggary apple sauce. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth rich light warm alcoholic bitter, spicy apple pie palate. For 14% the alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle at Jim’s back tasting! Bit hazy amber with no head. Sweet pear, light caramel, soft fudge, sweet apple juice, light tannic apple skins, old wood, alcohol, bitter herbs. Quite sugary sweet with bitter tannic finish. Full sugary body with no carbonation.
