Part of a sampler at the brewery while working after a day at Disney with the little ones. Great chocolate aroma. A bit thin and flat on the flavor vs. the aroma.

Pint can via trade, thanks Arturo. Brune foncée, col fin café au lait. Arôme est malté assez dominant sur effluves de caramel, fin chocolaté, grains concassés, pointe de grillé - le Bourbon est là avec qcq notes de vanille sans pour cela brillé - de plus que cela arrive juste après la dégustation d e la Tibidago Breckenridge. Palais est nettement plus marqué par l'alcool alors que justement sur la Tibidago à 10.5% cela passait bcp mieux. Le profil est épais et collant avec un côté sucre résiduel qui accentue l'effet alcoolisé, Bourbon moyen qui est un peu en retrait par rapport à la base des malts. Fine note de vanille et sur la fin petite note de fruits rouges et noirs. Retrouve un côté américain de stout impérial assez prononcé.

Can. Pours opaque black with minimal head, a wisp of dark brown perhaps. Aroma is heavy cacao, bourbon, mocha coffee. Flavor is pretty sweet, medium bitter, rich and full of coffee and mocha flavors with a bourbon back. Full body, creamy smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation. Rich and decadent but the barrel does not integrate as well as the best.

Can. Pours milky yellow, small off-white head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is orange pith, citrus, pine, dextrose, melon. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, a tad harsh. Medium body.

Pint can @ Niamey's monthly craft beer tasting. Thanks Aturo. Dorée, léger orange, col blanc. Arôme Citra et plein d'agrumes sur un rétro malté pâle et caramel. Palais est bien malté, pâle et caramel, alcool bien marqué - agrumes et pamplemousse sur une touche un peu levure/yaourt en fin de bouche. Tropical sur effet pungent hops, sève d'arbre - pin et au fini légèrement sirupeux.
