Nate's Gray Beard Vanilla Porter from Bugnutty Brewing Company

7.8/10 — Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 9
Draft flight at the Brewery. Clear very dark brown color with a small beige head. Definite caramel and vanilla aroma. This is by far the best beer in the flight. Clean and smooth and a little sweet. The vanilla flavor really shines through. Well done.

Draft flight at the Brewery. Clear bronze color with a small off-white head. Malty with a smooth, almost flat mouthfeel. Where's the smoky flavor of an Irish ale? Okay, but a bit of a letdown.

Draft flight at the Brewery. Clear gold color with a small white head and good lacing. Juicy aroma. Tastes like a juicy IPA but not quite as bitter. Not my favorite style, but not bad for what it is.

Perigee Pils from Bugnutty Brewing Company

5.5/10 — Appearance 4 Aroma 5 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 6
Draft flight at the Brewery. Clear pale gold color with virtually no head. Has a very bready taste for a pilsner, more like a blonde ale. Somewhat crisp, but lacks the sharpness of a pilsner. It's okay.

Draft. Pitch black color with a very small beige head. As expected, tastes like a typical stout with a little added cherry flavor. I'm not a big cherry fan in beer but this is respectable.

Tap. Pours clear orange, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is dank, armpits, pot. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Better than the reviews, and better than the rest of the Bugnutty offerings.
