Bottled (Thanks Joakim G). Rubyish black colour with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted coffee, roasted malts, caramel and some slight fruity tones. Flavour is roasted, ashy, some floral and fruity tones with some mild coffeeish tones. Too roasted and ashy CDA for my taste.

Bottle backlog May 2017. Unclear golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma of soft malt and mature fruit with a hint of citric fruit. Flavor is sweet malty, fruity, yeast and moderate bitterness. No lemongrass detected when tasting (just reading this now). Medium body and slightly grassy bitterness in aftertaste. OK, quite straight forward British style IPA.

On tap at På Kornet. A reddish black beer with a dense finger-thick light tan head. Cute lacing. Roasted malts, coffee, some chocolate and hints of vanilla in the aroma. It's lightly sour in the flavor, with burnt malts, some roasted malts, hints of bonfire, chocolate and coffee, and a wee touch of vanilla. It's full-bodied, semi-sweet and smooth on the palate, with a lasting finish where bitterness shows up among the other flavors. A nice beer indeed, but it's lacking on vanilla I think. 171020
