Tangerine, grapefruit, caramel, and lillies aroma. Cloudy amber, thin head, good lacing. Grapefruit dominant with whole orange, tangerine, and cat pee highlights. Grass finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Juicy, balanced, and complex. Delicious fruit forward DIPA.

Draft pour at Novemberfest 2014. Poured a nice clear dark yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was tropical fruit notes, orange and some floral hop notes. Flavor was light crisp, malts, citrus. Pretty good.

Sample at GABF 10/03/2014 (as "Barrel Aged Dubbel), thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. The beer pours a dark reddish-amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing. Aroma of whiskey, malt and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky whiskey, caramel malt and dark fruit. The finish is boozy with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tastes of light pumpkin, spices, floral notes, some bitterness, a little vegetal. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium body with a dry finish. More on the spiced side. 6/4/6/4/12

Caramel, a little butterscotch, grass. Cloudy amber, medium head. Grass, caramel on the edges, grapefruit peel. Quite a bitter aspirin and lilly finish. Light body. Hoppy but not without a malt presence. Could pass as an APA, certainly more bitter than other SIPAs, but the style is still defining itself and consensus has not yet been reached.

4 oz draft pour at Spacebar. Poured a totally clear straw yellow with a very small off-white head. Aroma was light sweet malts, some mild crisp fruits. Flavor was light caramel, sweet malt notes, crisp biscuit. Easy to drink. Girlfriend really liked it.
