Description
Created in 2003 by Christophe and Alexia Noyon, the Brasserie Artisanale des 2 Caps, when it started, had a dual vocation: that of giving a new economic dimension to the small family farm to make it sustainable and that of maintaining the remarkable built heritage, that constitutes the Ferme de Belle Dalle.
Thanks to the work and passion of the men and women who compose it, it now has real know-how, which has been rewarded multiple times in competitions. Over the years, the quality and finesse of its beers have attracted a growing number of palates in search of authenticity.

Bottle from La Bon Marche, Paris. Roasty, milky, sweet aroma with chocolate, some dark fruit. Black, not opaque quite, medium tan head. Roasty flavor, sweet, with chocolate, wood, burnt malts, cream. Seems to be a slightly sweet, dry-finishing porter. Decent, light, clean. Nice roasted malt finish.

Had to really fight to get much head out of this one, but once it was going it was okay, in fact lasting quite awhile, must be lots of yeast in the recipe. Soft aroma of hops and malts, very faint. Taste is a little malt, a little hop, some alcohol sting. Not too interesting or complex, but very drinkable.

Hot on the heels of the rotten vegetable juice known as Colomba, this one pours with just a little bit of head but an acceptable yellow colour. Proper aroma of wheat, slightly artificial, but not overly so. Taste is a nice mix of wheat and hops, good balance, good strength on the tongue. A decent wheat.

Nice black colour, very black, lots of head. Very nice! Aroma of barley, swampwater, alcohol, unsweetened chocolate. Taste is lots of burnt barley, coffee. Overroasted in my opinion but drinkable.
