Bottle [from Trinkgut] @ hotelroom, Gangelt, Germany. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malty, lightly hayish, softly sweetish grainy. Watery texture, quite thin, low carbonation. Hmm average I'd say, there's much better helles in Germany.

0.33 l bottle from 'Trinkgut Knurra', best before June 2024. Clear, golden with a thin, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately floral aroma of grains, straw, hints of honey and traces of lemon peel. Slightly sweet, quite dry, moderately bitter and a bit floral taste of grains, straw and a touch of honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, dry finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Bland.

500 ml bottle. Clear dark amber brown with a foamy head. Roasted malt, caramel, dried fruits, some metal, lemon, candy sugar. Malty sweetness, dry zesty bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry malty bittersweet finish. Nice flavourful Alt, remarkable on the sweet side, but with a good crisp bitterness.
