Bottle @ the brewery. Hazy orange, white head. aroma, yeasty, fruity and malty with notes of gains and mild bready nose, some banana. flavors, same lingering yeasty palate with banana esters, malty, with a full body, hints of spices, puree like fruits/tropical, lingering roast, vegetal aspect and higher abv helps this one gain a little ground on the others brewed by Br. de Ré. I enjoy their beers, but the yeast and the Hefe aspect make most of them light variations of one another, lacking some character.

bottle @ the brewery. pours brown, thick off-white head. aroma, similar to most of their brews, lots of esters giving a yeasty/banana nos, slightly on the more roasted and malty side as the rest of their beers., mild coffee and some fruits. flavors, same as nose, more pronounced roast, keeps a lingering full body of yeast and banana in the Hefe influence along with a moderate touch of coffee.

bottle @ the brewery. pours cloudy orange/golden, white head. aroma, musty yeast, some citrus hops and roasted malts, esters and fruits. flavors, roasted malts, grainy; wheat high-med carbonation, grassy, palate keeps a Hefe approach with some banana and cloying spices. Medium body, yeast and grains make this a filling beer.

bought @ the brewery.Third beer by Brasserie de Ré that I finally enjoyed. amber color, thick off-white head. aroma and flavors of esters, banana, some fruits, malts giving the beer a mild roasted palate.Character is more interesting, malts is more present adding a touch of chocolate although the Hefe impression is still there. Profile keeps a mild hops and citrus bitterness. As Tomaz said, the price is quite high for the end product quality, about 2€85

bottle bought @ the brewery. golden color, light haze, white head. As with previous beers, keeps a good Hefe style due to the yeast strain. aroma is yeasty, malty with some musty aromas, possibly some vegetables, concentrated fruits; apple. Flavors, yeasty, wheat, esters with a lingering yeasty palate and banana, some roasted malt character, musty. It could be a nice beer, but I think all of them tend to have the German yeast overpower most of the character. I get the idea of the brews, but this Hefe yeast palate brings the score a little lower for the beer.

Bought @ brewery. golden color with light haze, white head. aroma, grainy/wheat, yeasty in the Hefe style, light notes of banana, faint cloying. flavors, yeasty and some esters giving this beer a very banana like profile. Given the history of the brewery and the German yeast strain, there is no doubt that all their beers have a Hefe style despite the various names given to the beers. The biological malts don’t change much to the core version. Med-high carbonation, wheat/grainy palate, floral notes and no wit-Belgian elements that would make this one a Belgian wit as the name might suggest.

Bottled. Muddy pale orange. Aroma of citrus and papery malt. Medium sweet with soft, pleasant mouthfeel. Citric, refreshing and a tad unusual.
