Bottle from the beer bistro cause the lcbo didn’t seem to ship any outside of the GTA as usual. Slightly hazy yellow and a big white head. Yeasty Aroma, crisp green hops, light pine, and some soft fruit. Crisp dry finish, nice sharp hop flavours, medium bitterness.

Bottle from the lcbo. Black pour, oily, slick, with a tiny brown head. Sweet barrel, vanilla, caramels, light cinnamon, roast, coffee, soy. Oily mouth feel, silky carb. Roasty, whiskey finish, woody, vanilla, sweet, boozy caramels.

750ml corked and caged. Dark, hazy brown pour, with a small beige head. Incoming!!!!!!! We have a barrel bomb!!! Whoa, the nose on this is all barrel. Massive notes of Bourbon, wood, vanilla and it’s very very boozy. As it warms more fruit comes through, but man this is woody, and earthy, and loaded with sweet Bourbon barrel notes. Carb is nice, mouth feel is solid. Finish is slightly astringent, medium butter finish, boozy, and fruit with mkr huge barrel notes..if barrel bombs are your thing this is for you.. This is one of the more barrel forward beers I’ve ever tasted. But the base quad is much too lost for my tastes, I can barely tell what the base beer is. Good, not great.

750ml corked and caged from the lcbo. Opaque orange pour, with a large white head. Loads of brett in the aroma. Very fruity, oranges and stone fruit, light yeast, soft herbs and some tropical notes. Good mouth feel, soft carb. Finish is medium bitter, subtly sweet, bretty finish, more stone fruit, soft spice and cereals.

Purple color with a pink lasting foam. Berry aroma. Flavor is nice balance of sour acidity and sweet and tart berries. Finishes crisp and leaves a pleasant mildly sour aftertaste.

Opaque yellow with a citrusy hop aroma. Lots of hop flavor but milder on the bitterness, nice sweet malt backbone. Citrus taste.

Golden color with thick lasting foam. Funky, clove-like aroma. Taste matches the aroma, nice balance of sweetness and spiciness, finishes with a funky saison flavor.

On tap at the brewery. Brown pour with a medium head. Taste was a big caramel, chocolate, and vanilla presence. Decent but not great.
