Can. It pours an unclear golden-orange colored body under a white head. Some foamy curtains. The aroma is flowery and lightly fruity, citrusy, with a whiff of bready pale malts. It's medium bodied and smooth on the palate, softly carbonated and semi-dry, with a gentle bitterness. Flowery, orangey fruity flavor with some bready malts and a lightly doughy maltyness. A bit short finish, with orange marmalade running the show. When I poured it into my glass, I only poured half the can, and the beer was almost clear, and quite clean. After I had drank a little I poured in the rest and the beer turned unclear and much more yeasty. Only then did I read the text on the can and noticed it had been fermented with kveik. That sort of solved the puzzle. I guess I'd liked it more with a good saison yeast. 231223

Can, at Håndverkeren. A foggy golden-orange colored beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is perfumed, flowery and citrusy, with quite a lot of bready notes. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, mostly on the dry side, with a bready flavor. Perfumed, flowery and citrusy, just like the aroma, although with a very gentle spiced hint. Medium length finish. Sort of unbalanced, but decent indeed. 231103

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Small beige head. Aroma of salty liquorice and malts, disappointing. Warming mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, notes of malts, alcohol, aquavit spices, liquorice, caramel and oak.

Can @ home. Unclear golden body under a big, fading white head. Aroma has malt, spicy yeast and oranges. Taste is medium sweet pale malt, spicy yeast, hint of wheat and a fruity flavor that starts as generic citric fruit but becomes more distinct like oranges after a while. A floral touch as well and moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. A decent, refreshing and very easy drinkable take on the farmhouse style – and that’s in fact what a farmhouse beer is about. Wouldn’t mind another.
