Bottle shared by Andrew, thanks! Pours a near clear dark brown with a brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has chocolate and earthy roasted malts with a bit of cinnamon underlying. Flavor has earthy bakers chocolate and earthy dark grains with maple and cinnamon underlying.

Mixed review bottle (enjoy by 2/4/22) pour from Crosscut Liquors, Mtn. View and bottle (bottles on 11/4/24). Appearance is opaque black with light sparkle, finger-width light brown creamy head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is moderately strong roasted malt and coffee with late mild tart fruit contribution (no tartness 2024 edition). Taste follows aroma but tart quality is earlier and more pronounced (again, no tart quality 2024. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, neither the base stout nor the coffee is particularly strong or noteworthy (2022 version but both in good quantity 2024) and didn't care for the tart element. Not their best. Have had this before and enjoyed it so going to view 2022 as the aberration.

On tap at GTOM as “Tart Peach Berliner”. Pours a hazy yellow with small white head. The aroma is peach, wheat, dough. Thin body, peach candy, wheat, light tartness, decent.

Can (best by 7/20/21) pour. It's a lightly hazy dark yellow with no sparkle, finger-width cap of white foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is tart fruit, passion fruit. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with average carbonation, smooth texture and finish as taste. Overall, was expecting more tartness here but surprised to the upside. Refreshing.

12 oz bottle, Shared by tfontana. Aroma is fruity coffee, molasses and burnt sugar, nice! The body is lighter side of medium with a substantial amount of coffee across the tongue that turns into a dry ash texture. Booze is not found. Real good.

Bottle (cellarable to 5/1/23) pour from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, nice viscosity, thin cap of light brown head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted coffee and chocolate but a strong char quality that dominates. Taste is rich roasted coffee and malt with bit of chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth, silky, then frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the char quality in the aroma is a bit over the edge for me but the taste is more mellow. A good stout for true coffee lovers who don't want other adjuncts.

Pour is a cloudy blonde with almost no head at all. Aroma is a decent enough cracker lager malt with a little lemon drop hop. Flavor is is a flavorless grain malt but this does have a nice citrus hop bite to it. It is one of the more bitter lagers I may have ever had. Decent chugger and a little different than the usual pale lager.

Forgot this one, I miss sipping bourbon, this one's smooth sipper. Easy going and tons of caramel barrel notes

Single bottle from Trader Joe's, Chesterfield, MO. Nice grab of pine and resin hop under the cap. Slightly hazy orange body under a sudsy but thick head. Nice sharp hop taste, which is only then backed up by some toasty, slightly caramel malt. Just a little sticky on the lips, but very easy drinking. And just like that, it's finished.
