Reviewed from notes.
Thanks Steve!
Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light messy lace
Aroma: dark fruits, milk chocolate, whiskey and barrel tones, dark cherries, a little bit of vanilla, and a touch of bourbon
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to light spicy tone I believe coming from those barrels; finishes sweet through the blend of all those aromas
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper, light smoothness and a touch of dryness
Overall: I believe the bottle that was sent to me was slightly aged which I didn't mind because the barrel notes didn't have much "heat" to them to none at all.
Thanks Steve!

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - big thanks to Dave! Pours black-brown with a foamy, tan head. Big sweet flavour, some gooey marshmallows, chocolate sauce, raw alcohol, raisins, bourbon. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation: hot finish, more creamy chocolate, sugary marshmallows, toffee, dates, sugar syrup, booze. Not bad in very small dosage.

6th Floor bottleshare. Thanks to Wingman. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Rich chocolate malts, dark chocolate and spice. A little milk chocolate really elevates this one. Smooth spicy finish. Nice job.
