Description
Cross Borders’ origins trace back to an illicit biscuit cartel run by our two founders in primary school. This brewery IS THE RESULT OF YEARS OF friendship, HARD WORK, EXPERIENCE, AND a refusal to grow up. Based in leafy midlothian we brew braw beer you’ll want to drink again and again (responsibly of course).

Bottle from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - deep red to brown and opaque. Foamy off-white head.
Nose - red fruit, caramel and lashings of pine.
Taste - pine, red fruit including fruit tannin notes. Dry toffee and burnt bread.
Palate - medium bodied, complex, bitter, tannic and a bit gnarly to approach. That said, the complexity means it's a great challenge to take on.
Overall - good stuff!
