355ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral and grainy aroma, hints of rice, basmati, petals, doughy yeasty background. Taste is minimally bitter hoppy, slightly grainy, minimally floral, bready-spicy and doughy yeasty; super-soft, creamy palate.

Draught at Perch Brewery as "Mardi Gras Bock", 3/9/18.
Clear, goldenrod-to-light-brass. Thin white head showing low retention.
Waxy, vague, mineralesque nose does not feel anywhere near as malty as a bock should. Some vanilla, light honey, vague grain and light cereal really go nowhere and there's a touch of corn and alcohol lingering.
In the mouth it's quite thin, bland, loose of texture and with an undermalted, borderline husky character and uninteresting, poorly developed flavors of vanilla, cereal and light, thin honey.

12 ounce can. Hazy yellow gold pour. Rocky white head. Fragrant, spicy hop nose hints at citrus. Sweet fruity malt upfront. Some breadlines. Tropical fruit and berry notes in middle. Light peppery hops in finish. Decent.

So, this bottle is NOT the old abita grapefruit beer! Looks a little hazy like unfiltered pale ale. Smells like decent grapefruit, and it tastes somewhat like grapefruit, a its little better than expected. Pretty good carbonation and it almost comes across with a grapefruit radler personality. Yes, just a little more sweet and tart and this would be a radler. BTW, it probably is, JMHO. Not bad! Quite refreshing after working and sweating on the old riding lawn mower!

Been a while since I had an Abita beer, used to be my go-to (turbodog and purple Haze), good to see they still are on point. Hazy juicy with tons of flavor. Well done.

Can. Lemon, biscuit malt, and weedy grass aroma. Golden yellow with giant white head. Mildly sweet citrus, light biscuit malt, and mildly bitter quinine/grass flavor. Okay body.

From a 12 oz can. Pours a hazy gold with off white head. Aromas are of honeydew melon. Flavors are bitter citrus. Fairly light bodied with a moderately bitter finsish.
