Bottle at home, picked up at Classic Deli, Cowley Rd, Oxford, Sept 2011. Pours warm gold with a white head, it has some busy carbonation. Taste is a little grainy, though it is refreshing and there is a bitterness, slight metallic twang. Ok. A5 A4 T5 P3 Ov11 2.8

Pour is a dirty blonde with a large white head. Aroma is corn and grain. Flavor is watery and grainy. Reminds me of a eastern euro lager. I got this b\c I thought I did not have a beer from Laos and damn if i already have.

Gold it is, in colour i guess. Or clear fuzzy yellow. taste minimal, I think less notable than the regular beer lao. Harder to find but not really worth the effort. Drank in a big bottle from the corner store on an overnight sleeping bus to Vietnam and maybe that was my problem - nothing too distract me from absorbing the non-existent taste

Smell reminds me of my worst days of teenage binging, not in a particularly reminiscent way. Average taste, aftertaste borders on bad. Big bottle in a bar in Luang prabang. Stick with regular beer lao for a lager, or better - the dark

Kind of like a light dark beer, if that makes any sense. Not super dark, a fairly thin taste. Drank in a 350 ml bottle in Luang Nam pha at an outdoor market

fairly drinkable lager, especially after coming from Thailand’s chemical swills. Has a faint hoppy aftertaste that is almost pleasant, but too fleeting. Drank in a big bottle on the border at Chiang Kong/ Huay xai on the Laotian side
