Bottle. An almost clear one, deep golden in color and topped by an off-white head. Candy-sweetish nose with some pale malts and apple. It's medium bodied, nicely carbonated and quite dry, with a fruity sourness. Pale malts, grass, fruityness, a faint spiced yeastyness and some hay in the flavor. Medium length finish. 33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Notodden. Pours hazy deep amberto chestnut coloured with an off-white head. Malty and slightly caramelly with nutty notes and hints of toasted malty. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a l ight bitterness. Quite pleasant.

Bottle. An unclear orangey brown beer with a finger-thick beige head of moderate size. Malt driven aroma with caramel sauce, bread crust, some toffee and a touch of dried fruits. It's full bodied, soft and with a low carbonation level. Caramel, bread crust and a touch of prunes in the flavor. Some toasted hints too. Long caramel finish. I prefer my beers with a bit more carbonation and complexity. Nice though. 200807

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Filmy layer, near-clear amber body, clingy lacing. Moderate smell of mild farmyard, juniper and mid-sweet malts. Blended taste profile of juniper, yeast, and a caramel twist. A note of spruce to a mid-sweet finish. Fine depth. Pretty alright. (Tromsø 28.07.2020).
