Draft pour enjoyed at The Magnet, Vancouver. Juicy golden orange haze. Swirling foam head. Aroma has a rich peach punch. Flavor is also rich, with tons of overly sweet citrus, juicy fruit, peach punch. Melon. A bit of a bite late in the palate. Less than aggressive, but less than smooth. Decent north of the border hazy.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of phenols, some dankness, and a touch of juiciness. Flavour is hot and harsh, with booze, juicy notes, and earth hops. Hot, messy, juicy, and just not well-integrated. Poor.

Poured from 375mL bottle (2016 vintage; 11% abv). Near black with small beige head. Underlying mild bourbon barrel, light molasses, very feint licorice, could use some more body, but it's okay. Held up decent despite its age.

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with full head. Aromas of creamy vanilla, nutty chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors follow same; somewhat sweet but still emphasis on roasted malts. Simple but nice.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out tart red berries, a touch of plums, and a hint of balsamic - doesn't smell like an oud bruin. Flavour is gently tart and fairy fruity, with plums, red berries and a touch of balsamic. Fruity and tart but nothing close to an oud bruin. Okay.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark blond colour, dull, cloudy. The aroma is dominated by grapes. The mouthfeel is off-dry, but with good body structure; moderate malt flavour, a bit more than the typical Hazy, but also with less chalk; juicy, between orange peel, grapefruit and white grapes, but not particularly bright, there is some pith, some vegetable bitterness.
Not bad, but it's quite rough.
