Hazy, pale. Thin head. Thin, homebrew, not professional grade base. Light eggnog note. Sourish. Wow, this goes out of its way to suck.

On tap at the brewery. Pours murky ruddy brown with a white head. No nose. Flavour has faint berries. What is this supposed to be?

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy pale blonde with a white head. Gentle esters on the nose. Flavour has a generic, estery Belgian yeast profile, slightly floral. Meh.

Flight pour at Darby's. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Coffee and roast malts on the nose. Flavour has light coffee and roast. Medium-bodied. Not the worst stout around, but pretty far from good.

473mL can. Pours black with light beige head. Light toasted malt and wood on the nose. Flavour has roasted malts, burnt toffee, wood, and some cognac. On the lighter side for the body. Subtle and complex, nice.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark brown colour, near black. Aroma of dark chocolate, cacao, mild vanilla and tobacco. Light body for the style and era, some cacao, dark chocolate, and alcohol, but the body and sweetness are not really up to modern standards, nor it has a deep character like some old style one. It's ok.
